I read what you wrote about people wanting to become tattoo artists. You said EXACTLY what I have been saying for years! Having issues with someone that I agreed to apprentice as a favour to a friend..........Huge mistake! It's the "I want it now!" generation, their work ethics suck.

just wanted to say i loved your opinion regarding the tattoo industry, that you wrote in july on sean518's journal. there is such a glaring disconnect between the average public perception of our industry thanks to television, and the actual bare bones every-day work life we endure. ive lost count of the many times ive said similar things to young starry eyed kids who enter the shop, and also the staggering number of shops showing disregard by being nothing more than apprentice factories, and slowly watering the industry down for us all.
good to see someone else is as passionate about these issues as i am. thanx..
